Jeff D’Ambrosio Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Clerk to join our team Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. The workplace is easy going with great pay, and no stress! This role requires strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, as well as a positive attitude. Experience as a warranty administrator is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer or warranty provider in a timely manner.
- Verify and ensure the accuracy of warranty information, including labor, parts, and repair orders.
- Track and follow up on claim approvals, denials, and adjustments.
- Communicate with service technicians, service advisors, and management to clarify warranty coverage and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of all warranty claims and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
- Monitor and report on warranty claim statuses and reimbursements.
- Assist in maintaining warranty manuals, bulletins, and updates from the manufacturer.
- Provide administrative support to the Service Department as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in automotive administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Warranty Clerk or in a similar administrative role within the automotive industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of warranty processes, manufacturer policies, and repair order documentation.
- Proficient in using dealership management software (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Familiarity with Volkswagen warranty policies is a plus but not required.
