Requirements:
- Between one to two years of experience? Not a problem, we'll train you up!
- Three to Four years of experience? We'll get you to the next level, and beyond!!
- 5 years of experience? You already know what to do. We'll make sure you stay up-to-date
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunction and perform repairs; communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Perform work as outlined on the repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
- Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician; determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Follow all Manufacturer Guidelines regarding Warranty related repairs
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
- Two plus years of automotive repair experience preferred
- Diploma from an accredited automotive technology school is a plus
- Driving record allowing you to be insured to drive customer and company vehicles
