SUMMARY Responsible for care of children in the program. Follow and model care as required. Plan and implement development programs and curriculum. Maintain records as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide direct care of infant/toddlers.
- Elicit parental preference in the care of all children.
- Follow and model child care as developed by District, Department of Human Services National Health and Safety Standards, Triad and Educare Colorado, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
- Plan and implement developmental programs for children as appropriate and implement curriculum with active participation of other members of the child care and teaching team.
- Maintain records as required by law and/or best practice including but not limited to: daily nutrition, immunizations, weight and developmental progress of children.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & EQUIPMENT Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
SUPERVISION/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITY This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
