The Civil Case Manager Lead plays a critical role in supervising the administrative responsibilities of the Civil Case Manager team. This individual will serve as a point of contact for team members, ensuring workflows are efficient and aligned with the firm's goals. While maintaining their own caseload, the Team Lead will oversee team performance, address administrative challenges, and ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures.
What you'll be doing :
- Maintain an individual caseload and job duties of the Civil Case Manager position. Including, but not limited to, documenting case actions, interacting with clients to provide updates, assist with medical treatment, and educate on the personal injury process, while reviewing evidence, medical records, and drafting demands. Additionally, handles lien negotiations and collaborates with firm staff to ensure timely and effective client service.
- Ensure the team is in compliance with firm policies, procedures, and case deadlines.
- Act as a liaison between the Civil Case Manager team and management, communicating updates and addressing concerns.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to management regarding team performance.
- Audit team members' timecards for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Approve and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate team coverage.
- Support team members in managing complex or high-priority cases.
- Attends required morning and monthly meetings.
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
