ABOUT THE JOB:

Then the Client Services Specialist role is calling your name. The Client Services staff provide a high-quality level of service to both internal and external clients in support of our three major business lines: Debt Collections, Bankruptcy and Payment Rewards. This role is vital to the ongoing success of the company as it directly impacts how our external clients perceive Jefferson Capital Systems, as well as how our internal clients execute on client deliverables. Client Services is also responsible for adhering to and enforcing compliance; which includes extensive quality assurance efforts to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Creating clear and effective lines of communication between internal and external clients to ensure timely and efficient deliverables.
- Constantly seeking new ways to improve customer service.
- Researching client requests and ensuring timely and accurate follow through, including implementation of process improvements to minimize repeat issues.
- Providing internal and external clients with accurate feedback to ensure understanding.
- Facilitating the sending and retrieving of files through secure file transfer mechanisms.
- Pulling through operational requirements as outlined in client contracts.
- Tracking and following up with external clients to ensure payment for invoices are received monthly.
- Coordinating client performance and touch base meetings.
- Researching and handling daily inquiries.
- Creating and maintaining internal process documentation.
- Seeking and executing process efficiencies.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- College degree preferred or equivalent, related experience.
- Prior experience in working with clients or the public is helpful, but not required.
- Always demonstrates a high degree of professionalism.
- Self-motivated, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in priorities.
- Collections background strongly desired.
- Detail orientated with a high expectation for accuracy and timeliness Prior experience in the financial services industry valuable but not required.
- Highly organized with the ability to successfully perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent relationship building and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
