POSITION TITLE: Welcome Center Enrollment Specialist, 12-month
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Welcome Center Supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month employment with benefits as specified in the Classified Agreement.
This employee is part of a team that assists new families in enrolling in the district via our Welcome Center. The candidate must be energetic, friendly, and customer-minded. Welcome Center team members assist families in enrolling in our District by helping them secure a variety of information and records, answering questions and giving families a great first experience with JC Schools. This employee is a member of an office team that supports not only our families and patrons but also other District/school staff. Teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail and the willingness to go the extra mile are essential skills. Finally, the candidate will perform general clerical work (e.g., data entry, scanning, filing, etc.). Must have exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to work collaboratively. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

- Able to perform general office duties such as copying, filing and faxing.
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
- Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiar with Google Suites, Microsoft office, and Adobe products.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
- Facilitate new student enrollment by working with students and families to obtain a variety of information and records.
- Responsible for accurate data for record-keeping in multiple software systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Answer phones, receive messages, and respond to inquiries by staff, parents, or patrons of the district.
- Maintain confidentiality
- Attend meetings and training as directed.
- Present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Work additional hours or overtime as directed.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
