Residential Program Director Job Details:
- Oversees the daily operations of the JCBDD Shaffer Plaza Residential Facility
- Provides administration leadership and ensures compliance with all applicable government agencies and licensure requirements
- Develops, implements and evaluates policies and procedures to ensure quality and consistency of services
- Monitors and evaluates the quality of care provided to residents
- Prepares for and participates in external audits from regulatory agencies
- Supervises, mentors and evaluates a team of direct care staff
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations and collaborates with union officials to ensure adherence to union language
- Participates in staff recruitment
- Participates in development of all resident’s Ohio Individual Service Plan (OISP)
- Meets all reporting requirements inclusive of UI/MUI reporting
Education and Experience:
· Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work or related field preferred
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work or related field required
· Minimum of two years of appropriate supervisory or management experience required
· Minimum of two years appropriate experience working in healthcare or social services management preferred
· Experience in a long-term care, intermediate care, or residential setting preferred
