Jefferson County Park & Recreation is hiring a full time Parks Supervisor. Duties include:
- Supervises daily maintenance operations of Parks and Recreation Department;
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and assigns the work of subordinate staff; trains, supervises subordinate staff;
- Assist in responding to public’s concerns and questions;
- Promotes and ensures proper employee training and compliance with County safety program and departmental safety procedures;
- Coordinates vendors for special events.
- Assists in planning and executing special events;
- Assists Director as requested.18 years of age.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in organizational leadership, event planning, facility management, recreation management, or similar experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Idaho driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record. Must pass a background check. Will be expected to operate mower, trimmer, sprayer, backpack blower, hand and power tools, landscaping tools, ATV, and other tools as required.
