What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Coach position at Jefferson County Schools?
Florida Educator Certificate with coverage in any field is required. Preference given to ELA/Reading. This assignment will be at Jefferson County K-12 in Monticello Florida. All teaching positions are full-time (7.5 hours per day) with a starting salary of $47,500 with additional compensation based on experience and qualifications. Instructional coaches will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of instructional staff. Instructional coaches are expected to engage in the coaching cycle with subject-area teachers to improve instructional practice and ensure high-quality student learning. This position requires frequent communication with and between classroom teachers and school administrators. Instructional coaches will also be responsible for analyzing student and teacher level data to drive professional learning with the goal of building teacher capacity and improving student outcomes. Instructional coaches will work closely with administration to review student and teacher data, establish teacher and student goals, and engage in progressing monitoring schoolwide.
