Job Summary
The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking a qualified individual to work as a dispatcher. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Answer multiple phone lines professionally from various sources, including 911.
- Handle all radio traffic and log information in computer-aided dispatch (CAD).
- Monitor GPS vehicle tracking system and deputies working off-duty details.
- Work shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
