Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our Residents. New grads welcomed, Temp license with a schedule test date encouraged to apply. LPN license must be in good standing and unencumbered ( no exceptions)
The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring adherence to established standards of care while promoting patient comfort and well-being.
Shifts Offered: # of spots available
- Monday- Friday 7am - 3pm 1
- Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm 0
- 4 on / 2 off rotation 11pm-7am 1
- Weekend special Sat/Sun 7am -11pm ( 8 hr Ghost Pay) 0
- 3 Day Work weeks:
- 1) Mon 16 hrs. Tues 16 hrs., Wed 8hrs 0
- 2) Wed 8 hrs., Thurs 16 hrs., Fri 16 hrs. 2
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide care for geriatric patients, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
- Document patient information accurately in PCC electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Strong understanding of geriatrics and the specific care requirements for older adults.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
