Education, Skills and Experience Requirements: Graduate from an approved school of nursing. Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing as an RN. Basic proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams Capacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals Basic competency in documenting patient information accurately.
Experience and Skills Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Oncology infusion experience preferred. 1-2 years of RN/ LPN experience preferred. Proficiency in electronic documentation.
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care for an assigned caseload of patients in administering drugs. This includes delegating duties appropriately and directing staff in the delivery of care, assuring responsibility for the appropriate utilization of resources, collaborating with medical staff and others in the provision of care, and demonstrating positive interpersonal relationships with others in communication and problem resolution.
