Our client, a leading provider in the live entertainment industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams across the organization. What's the Job?
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with departmental managers.
Oversee financial transactions and reporting across multiple employers within the organization.
Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Implement and ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the live entertainment or related industry.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Experience leading and developing a team.
