Key Responsibilities:
- Material Transport:
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks (e.g., dump trucks, cement mixers, flatbeds) to transport construction materials such as sand, gravel, and concrete.
- Vehicle Operation & Safety:
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it meets safety standards.
- Load and unload materials safely, adhering to weight and size regulations.
- Operate trucks in compliance with local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Maintenance and Reporting:
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance needs or repairs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs as required.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement
- Strong knowledge of truck operations, loading procedures, and safety standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required by project schedules.
