We're looking for a staffing coordinator to assist our Staffing Department with the day-to-day operations of running 700 weddings a year. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and detail-oriented person that thrives in collaborative environments. Prior administrative work experience is preferred but not required. You will be guided under the mentorship of the Chief of Staff and Director of Staffing and assist them with the following responsibilities & duties:
- Monitoring our company staff phone line for questions and concerns.
- Assisting with scheduling and assigning personnel to shifts.
- Sending out personalized shift reminders for our waitstaff and surveys to those who worked their first shift.
You will have the opportunity to grow within our company and learn the following staffing management skills:
- Basic use and maintenance of staffing platforms like Nowsta and Paycom.
- Learn about catering, fine-dining, and the fast-paced wedding industry.
- Familiarity and exposure to events management.
Work will be done in-person at our office in Lansdowne, PA. This role will span over the majority of the 2025 wedding season, beginning in mid-April and ending in mid-November. You will come in on certain days of the week (not every weekday), think your traditional 9-5 timeframe, and your total hours will run on average between 20-40 hours a week depending on where we are in the wedding season. Weekend availability is highly preferred for possible weekend hours based on the needs of our business.
