JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Director, Product Line - Interior Doors to join our growing team.
Summary :
We are seeking a strategic and consumer-driven Product Director to lead our product management team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product development and leadership and the ability to drive the product vision from concept to launch while managing a complex portfolio of legacy products. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure our products meet market and consumer needs and exceed customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders focused on offering a product that meets the needs of both the homeowner and builder
- Lead the product management team in developing innovative solutions that align with consumer preferences needs while aligning with the overall business objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product development.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product performance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and inform future decisions.
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to retirement, ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making using analytics and user and consumer feedback.
- Act as a product advocate within the organization, articulating the product's value proposition to customers and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop product management team members to enhance their skills and performance.
