GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Builds, tests, troubleshoots, and performs services and repairs on electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies or systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level on printed circuit boards
Work effectively with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments
Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions
Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multi meters
Calibrate electronic test equipment and test stations
Ensure all test equipment utilized is in working order and in calibration at all times
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines and equipment
Manage time to meet new production, return schedules and budget
Provide accurate and timely status updates to new production and return tracking documents
Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100% of time; less PTO, FML/STD/LTD
Other Job Functions
Work with Engineering to develop test procedures and policies as needed
Train, mentor and lead junior technicians
Assist Engineering personnel developing tests for product in the development phase
Other duties may be assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
Ability to adhere to workplace rules
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions and component identifications
Ability to work with minute parts and demonstrate finger dexterity
Proven working knowledge of advanced test equipment operations and related uses and safeguards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
A minimum of 5 years of test technician experience
Advanced experience with MS Office
Working knowledge of digital and RF electronics circuit functionality and troubleshooting
Successful completion of electronic technician training, AS degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent, preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Mechanical troubleshooting: 5 years (Preferred)
