About The Job
- We are looking for a Personal lines Account Manager to join our team in Mesa.
- JELMS Insurance Group is an established Independent Agency located in Mesa, AZ for over 19 years focusing on personal and commercial property and casualty insurance. We believe that the best protection arises from genuine care. We commit to understanding the unique needs of every client, ensuring they get the precise coverage they need, no detail too small.
- Responsible for acting as the primary contact for our existing personal lines customers. Manage all client relations and services within your assigned book of business. Work with our group of insurance companies on our clients behalf to communicate policy changes, renewal terms, and be able to prepare and provide new premium estimations for existing clients.
Provide outstanding inbound service on claims, billing questions and endorsements
- Work to manage clients’ expectations
- Follow up via phone or email with clients
- Use every opportunity to confirm and update client contact information
- Educate clients on the benefits of using our agency
- Service Personal Lines accounts in a manner so as to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing E&O exposures
- Document the management system
- Follow agency service standards on follow up and follow through
- Complete 100% of account reviews assigned to you each week. This includes reviewing potential discounts and coverage gaps
- Contact the client for a formal review that improves the client relationship, generates opportunity and reduces remarketing
- Follow agency remarketing guidelines
- Check new business files for accuracy
- Send any onboarding materials to clients post-sale
- Update any missed new business items
- Take new business opportunities and quote them either on the phone or book an appointment with the person to review quotes no more than 48 hours later
- Follow the agency sales process
- Follow up according to the sales process
- Hold the target agency closing ratio
- Ability to Problem Solve, think quick, logically, and independently to meet agency goals and KPI’s.
- Organizational skills with the ability to transition quickly from one task to another;
- Work well under pressure and short deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Prior Property and Casualty work experience
- Active State of Arizona Insurance License for Property and Casualty
- Confident and self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and innovate.
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
