Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team and lives in the Searcy area. The ideal candidate will possess basic appliance, construction, plumbing and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to perform various maintenance tasks in a residential setting. This role is essential for ensuring that all apartments are well-maintained and operating efficiently and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Be on time working hours 8:00-5:00 Monday - Friday and on call one week out of the month.
• Must have your own tools and storage for them.
• Be able to use Google Docs on phone on personal laptop to retrieve work schedule and mark off completed calls.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, appliances and electrical systems as needed in vacant and occopied apartments.
• Must be able to move appliances up and down a flight of stairs and install.
• Construction repair of apartments; such as, replacing cabinets, doors, stairs, porches, etc.
• Staying compliant with safety regulations and Fair Housing Laws
• Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Must have personal vehicle to drive around five local cities and be able to pull trailer.

Skills

• Strong maintenance knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various problems.
• Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring and circuit repairs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in maintaining and remodeling apartments, ensuring all areas are safe and functional.

Pay: $43,500.00 per year
