Job Title: Supervisor, Packaging and Labeling
Supervisor/Manager Title: Senior Manager, DS Manufacturing
Job Description Summary: Supervision and development of an assembly team and area conducting Delivery System (Delivery Catheter, Loading Tools, and Introducer Sheath) and THV primary and secondary packaging and labeling. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and requires leadership, communication, problem solving, and the ability to be hands on.
Job Responsibilities:
- Effective planning, organization, control, and supervision of manufacturing inventory, areas, and process.
- Lead, coach, and mentor team while measuring team and individual performance, setting goals and accountability.
- Become and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the packaging and labeling process.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the manufacturing process or training program.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (FDA, OSHA, etc.) and compliance with manufacturing procedures.
- Assist or lead in root cause analysis investigation nonconformances and participate in Material Review Boards (MRB) for product disposition.
- Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others.
- Ensure team is up to date on all training.
- Must be comfortable with hands-on work.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising in a highly regulated manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the same environment.
- High school degree or higher education.
- Knowledge of industry-standard assembly practices for packaging and labeling.
- Experience working and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Experience taking initiative and conducting hands-on work.
Skills and Abilities Required for This Job:
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment is key.
- Ability to analyze and adjust line/operation layouts to improve efficiency.
- Strong hands-on skills with proven ability to apply technical knowledge and judgment to complex technical problems.
- Ability to establish a culture of positive reinforcement along with being comfortable administering discipline when required.
- Knowledge in both Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills; possessing strong collaboration skills in partnering with cross functional stakeholders to achieve objectives, as well as mediating and negotiating the needs of other areas to achieve consensus.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
