What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beach Attendant position at Jenkinson's Boardwalk?
- Maintain the daily operations of the beach within the guidelines of Jenkinson's operating procedures.
- Assist guests with setting up umbrellas and beach chairs and wheelchairs.
- Collect and store umbrellas and beach chairs at the end of day.
- Clean the beach of any loose garbage.
- Take the garbage off the beach to our garbage area.
- Clear ramps, stairs, and shower platforms of sand and debris.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must be flexible regarding schedules based on seasonal demands.
- Able to lift in excess of 20 pounds.
- Must be able to work outside with Sun and heat exposure.
Employees under 18 years old may be paid less than state minimum wage as per NJAC 12:56-12
