What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beach Gate Attendant position at Jenkinson's Boardwalk?
Ages 18
- Assist customers when they purchase beach access wristbands; put wristbands on
- Maintain accurate change box in accordance with company policy
- Exemplify high-quality customer service through answering questions customers have in a polite manner
- Maintain conversations with customers to make them feel welcome
- Utilize the “customer is always right” ethos when diffusing a variety of customer issues
- Have a flexible schedule to meet seasonal demands
- Basic math and reading comprehension
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Knowledge of Jenkinson's events and locations
- Must be willing to work outside with heat and sun exposure
The South Beach Department is dedicated to making beach trips relaxing and enjoyable all throughout the summer for our customers. We want to make access to our clean and beautiful Jersey Shore as easy-breezy as possible, and we want you to be part of it! This job will not begin until Mid May at the earliest.
