Position: Gate Keeper
Reports to: Jenks Trojan Hoops Coordinator
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with students and adults.
- Ability to represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To effectively admit and welcome patrons into Jenks Trojan Hoops events.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner reflective of Jenks Public Schools.
- Ability to remain calm and work to find solutions in situations that escalate with customers.
- Ability to manage money and provide correct change for customers.
- Demonstrate professional judgment as to when to call for the Event Manager as situations arise.
