Horizons of Health is looking for a dynamic, well organized and driven individual who has a passion for helping people achieve better health. The position that just opened is for the Front Desk Receptionist, 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.

The Position: As the Front Desk Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for the patients as they call or walk into the clinic. This is the first and, very often, the most important impression the new patients will have of the whole clinic. It is therefore crucial that you create at the front desk a welcoming, friendly, warm, and caring attitude with everyone who calls in or walks into the clinic. To ensure that the patients feel welcome and comfortable with and in the office by correctly handling them from the first telephone contact, through their arrival and treatment at the office, then departure with another visit scheduled.
You are also the mastermind of the providers’ patient schedule. Through your actions, you are to keep the appointment book full, rescheduled appointments to a minimum and patient flow smooth and efficient. It is your responsibility to free up the providers’ time for essential income earning actions and to prolong the longevity of the providers by protecting them against overloads. You will also be responsible to see that collections are received for treatments and supplements.
You: The chosen applicant must be able to work well with other team members; have great communications skills; a superlative sense of organization; have an appreciation of integrative medicine; and have a deep seated desire to help others on their journey to health. Having work on the front desk at a private clinic is an asset.
