Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and scope of work
- Perform site visits when necessary to gather essential project information
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to evaluate bid requirements
- Request and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates
- Maintain up-to-date cost data to reflect current market trends
- Present estimates clearly to internal stakeholders
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Estimator in the construction or mechanical contracting industry
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices
- Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
