Jensen Beach Kitchen and Bath is a home remodeling showroom, offering exceptional design services and high-quality materials and installation for residential renovations. We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Showroom/Designer Assistant to support our lead designer and enhance the overall customer experience.
Job summary:
The Showroom/Designer Assistant will work with the lead designer to manage various tasks, including but not limited to providing estimates, assisting with design projects, handling customer inquiries, and assisting with administrative duties if needed. This position requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized and focused on tasks.
Responsibilities:
-Design Assistance:
Assist the designer in preparing design concepts, materials selection, and project specifications. Help create and maintain design layouts, drawings, and presentations for clients.
-Estimating & Scheduling:
Work with the designer to prepare accurate project estimates based on client needs and materials. Assist in coordinating project schedules and ensuring timely completion of projects. Ensuring quickbooks stay up to date with customer and project information.
-Customer Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for customers, answering questions and providing updates on project timelines, and product availability. Communicate updates to customers in a timely manner. Ensure clients have a positive experience from start to finish.
-Administrative Support:
Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining client records, and tracking orders and deliveries.
-Showroom Maintenance:
Help maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring displays are up to date and presentable. Support the team in keeping the showroom inviting for customers.
-Multitasking & Time Management:
Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
Required skills and experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Strong proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), -Strongly skilled in using internet searches, price matching and comparing to work with specific budgets.
-Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
-Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Cheerful, positive attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service.
-Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

-Experience in design, construction, or a passion for home remodeling is preferred.
-Proficiency with design software (e.g. Prokitchen, 2020, Chief Architect) is a plus.
-Basic knowledge of home remodeling products and materials is preferred.
-Ability to handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and order tracking.
-Spanish speaking is a plus.
-Team player and works well with others.
-Willingness to do things according to company policy and standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
