What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drycast Operator (Concrete Machine Operator) - LOBO position at Jensen Infrastructure?
Position Summary
Based at our manufacturing operation in (Lockeford, CA), the Drycast Operator makes quality concrete products in a safe and timely manner by operating different sizes of vibrating tables, forms, and various other pieces of equipment. This position follows the life cycle of the product from start to finish, including finishing and assembly, coating, racking and other processing tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Drycast Operator is a key position at Jensen Precast. You’re working mostly indoors, operating a semi-automated production line machine, placing concrete into molds, fabricating precast utility products.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’re working in a team setting and mainly interacting with the Operations Team.
A highlight of your day-to-day will include:
Fabricating small box precast parts and assemblies; ensuring work is to specifications including dimensional criteria, squareness standards and tolerance call outs through personal manufacturing of product; obtains first part approval on each new task. Creates custom parts and fixtures needed to complete production work.
Operating and maintaining equipment; open and fills molds using machines. Use cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment, when certified, in an appropriate manner.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and product enhancement for more efficient fabrication.

Position Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret production drawing (will train).
- Proficient in utilizing tape measures and basic hand tools including, but not limited to trowels, hammers, wrenches, chisels, power tools, etc.
