What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector - Metal Tech position at Jensen Infrastructure?
WHAT YOULL BE DOING
The Quality Inspector is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure, Metal Tech Division. Youre at the end of the of the line, making sure our products are to specifications, top-tier and ready to hit the market.
Reporting to our Plant Manager, youll primarily work with the production team and the yard team.
Principle Accountabilities
- Manage the quality manual and update, as necessary, to reflect our plant processes
- Look for and implement process improvements to reduce rework and eliminate waste
- Internal auditor for process compliance to the quality manual/quality operating system
- Perform sample inspections to ensure all products leaving the plant meet drawings and specifications. Implement CA/PA as required to resolve
- Project manage plant quality items: corrective action/preventive action program, measurement equipment calibrations
- Project manage training matrix: quality program training, weld qualifications
