What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Resources Technician position at Jensen Infrastructure?
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Technician is a key position at our Water Resources division. When you’re in the building, you’re responsible for the warehouse functions, including, but not limited to, shipping, receiving, and inventory. In the field, you perform on-site visits to ensure proper installation of supplied products and assist in the correction of any issues found during inspection.
Reporting to our Customer Service Manager, you’ll primarily work about 50% independently in the Warehouse, and 50% in the field on construction sites, working directly with General Contractors.
A highlight of your day to day will include:
Receiving, offloading, and inspecting inbound shipments. Assembling and packaging items for outbound shipping.
Performing inspection of pump stations, troubleshooting electrical controls and mechanical pumping systems.
Coordinating with customer to schedule on-site visits to verify proper installation and operation of the system whilst performing in-field client training.
Assisting customers with warranty or service calls and coordinating with the Customer Service Manager to resolve customer concerns.
