Inventory Control Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient logistics, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance supply chain performance. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to leverage various tools and systems for effective inventory control.

Duties

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze data trends and generate reports using data visualization techniques to inform decision-making processes.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
• Utilize analytics and data mining techniques to forecast demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and logistics software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
• Experience in financial modeling related to inventory costs is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies and vendor management is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
