Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory management processes. Duties
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze data trends and generate reports using data visualization techniques to inform decision-making processes.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
- Utilize analytics and data mining techniques to forecast demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and logistics software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in financial modeling related to inventory costs is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and vendor management is desirable.
