Position: Physical Education Educator

School Year: 2025-26

Job Summary

Jersey Community Unit District No. 100 is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Physical Education (PE)

Teacher who is not only qualified, but extremely excited to instruct students in the areas of physical education. The

ideal candidate will inspire students to develop lifelong fitness habits, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and

deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education lessons. Responsibilities include planning and

implementing a comprehensive PE curriculum aligned with state standards, assessing student progress, maintaining a

safe and inclusive environment, and actively participating in school events and collaborative planning. A strong

commitment to student well-being, effective classroom management, and a passion for physical activity are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

The professional educator MUST possess a proper Illinois Professional Educator License with a Physical Education,

K-12 endorsement.
