Position: Middle School Educator

School Year: 2025-26

Job Summary

Jersey Community Unit District No. 100 is in search of a caring professional educator who is not only

qualified but extremely excited to instruct students at the middle school level. Working collaboratively

within professional learning communities to build curricula and establish common assessments is required.

Additionally, having knowledge of data-driven, research based pedagogical approaches to instructing and

learning is strongly desired. Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RtI), new Illinois learning standards,

technology integration, and methods of differentiation is necessary. Previous experience is preferred but

would strongly consider a candidate with the necessary credentials without experience who is highly

motivated, exceptional in disposition (caring, compassionate, patient, etc.), and extremely dedicated to the

academic and social growth of all students.

Minimum Qualifications

The professional educator MUST possess an Illinois Professional Educator License with a middle school endorsement.

Multiple middle school endorsements preferred.
