Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial spaces, facilities, and residential areas. The Cleaner will play a crucial role in ensuring that all spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for occupants and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in various settings to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out porter duties such as transporting items between locations and assisting with setup for events.
- Execute floor care tasks including buffing, waxing, and polishing surfaces to enhance appearance.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Experience in floor care practices such as buffing and waxing is beneficial.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures will be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
