Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and logic controllers, along with excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and interpret schematics to identify problems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests and communicating effectively with team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in supervising maintenance activities is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities.
