What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Jessup's Appliances?
Jessup's Major Appliance Centers has an excellent opportunity in our Business Office for an Office Assistant. The shift is Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm
Primary duties include:
- Assist with day-to-day invoicing and Daily Cash Summaries.
- Assist Office Manager on issues related to telephones, computers, database issues, and more.
- Prepare end of month reports.
- Handle return paperwork.
Experience preferred is 2 years office experience and proficiency with:
- Computer use
- Microsoft (R) Office
- Databases
- Bookkeeping
Skills preferred:
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Ability to create documents in Microsoft (R) Excel.
- Ability to use proprietary databases to enter and retrieve information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
- Ability to focus and multitask.
