Job Title: Sealcoating and Crack Filling Foreman
Description of Role: The seal coating and crack filling foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the operations of a seal coating and crack filling business. This individual is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of projects, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with management to plan and schedule seal coating and crack filling projects. Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, based on project requirements. Coordinate project logistics and ensure timely completion.
2. Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standard of work. Conduct inspections to verify that seal coating and crack filling meet industry standards and customer expectations.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and operation of equipment used in sealcoating and crack filling. Schedule routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
4. Material Management: Manage inventory of seal coating and crack filling materials. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as needed for projects.
5. Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations. Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entirety of the project.
Terms:
Season of Work: April 15th to October 20th.
Work Schedule: Weekdays - Monday to Friday.
Weekends: Saturdays are expected 2-3 times per month, especially if weather conditions during the week are rainy.
Sundays: We strive to avoid working on Sundays, with exceptions based on weather and project needs.
All of this is weather dependent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
