Jet Container Company is in search of a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. Family owned and operated for more than 40 years, we utilize our award-winning design team, state-of-the art machinery, and experienced team members to deliver the ideal packaging to protect, ship, and display customer merchandise.
The Customer Service Representative will strive to keep work flowing smoothly through the box plant, taking, processing and troubleshooting orders, and ensuring the highest level of customer service for both our internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

SALARY RANGE: $24-28/hr
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Full-time, first shift – Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
In office, no remote / hybrid
The Customer Service Representative will strive to keep work flowing smoothly through the box plant, taking, processing and troubleshooting orders, and ensuring the highest level of customer service for both our internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project pricing/provide quotes to customers
- Project scheduling; establishing delivery time and tracking
- Responding to customer questions and complaints, and following-up with plant personnel as needed
- Email confirmations to customers
- Process purchase orders
- Internal scheduling with the sales and production teams
- Track warehouse items to ensure availability
- Analyze monthly warehouse item usage and restock when necessary, working with our Production Coordinator
- Follow-up internally on orders, and communicate any changes to the customer
- Obtain outside quotes from suppliers for partitions, chip board, tooling, etc.
- Maintain customer files
- Record customer order changes
- Confirm accuracy of production specs
- Ensure delivery date is known internally, and communicating any discrepancies or changes to the customer
- Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical coursework preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Basic math skills
- Good organization skills
- Ability to apply common sense in carrying out instructions in written, verbal, and diagram (graphic) form
- Multitasking ability to solve various problems and deal with situations in which little detail or standardization exists
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to read and interpret documents, such as sales reports, operating instructions, and training and procedure manuals
- Excellent time management
- Strong work ethic, and enjoys taking initiative
- Professional and courteous demeanor over the phone and via electronic communication
- Corrugated industry experience highly preferred
- Experience in MS Office required; experience with Kiwi a plus
