Job Title: Welding Inspector

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Inspector to join our team. The Welding Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all welding activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and specifications. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Interpret and evaluate testing results to determine the quality of welds
• Review welding procedures and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
• Provide support to welding personnel to ensure that welding activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and specifications
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all welding activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that welding activities are integrated into the overall project plan

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection or Production Welding.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret welding procedures, specifications and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects in welds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

• Welding: 5 years (Required)
