Coordinator Talent Acquisition – (Onboarding & Orientation)
Position Summary
The Coordinator Talent Acquisition will partner with Recruiters on all aspects of the hiring process. These duties include posting requisitions, prescreening for employment eligibility, scheduling pre-employment testing, scheduling interviews, background and compliance verification, communicating candidate status, and coordinating orientation and training dates. You will also be responsible for candidate tracking and all nuanced reporting requests for your assigned requisitions. Working as part of a centralized recruiting coordination team, you will be assigned a focus area or department within the organization. You will also have the opportunity to support other hiring verticals as you grow and progress in your career, and as hiring demands change across departments.
As a Coordinator, you will often be the first and last touchpoint for Candidates as they are considered for roles with JetBlue. You will play a critical role in the Candidate Experience, and your exceptional communication, prioritization, time management, and follow-up skills will support your success.
Essential Responsibilities
- Post requisitions in partnership with Recruiters
- Schedule interviews and provide administration support on interview day
- Arrange travel and logistics for candidates
- Process interview related paperwork
- Coordinate pre-employment testing activities
- Evaluate candidate applications for minimum qualifications
- Coordinate and maintain all aspects of the employment verification process, and monitor applicant status via business partner’s website
- Coordinate travel/accommodations to orientation and training
- Collect and process offer letters/term sheets, I-9 forms, E-Verify, payroll forms, and company policy manual acknowledgment
- Communicate with Candidates, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition Team on selection status
- Process new hires into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous experience.
- One (1) year of general Human Resources or Administrative experience
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency with remote and video communications tools
- Knowledge of human resources applicant tracking software
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop interdepartmental relationships
- Strong organizational, analytical, coordination, and follow-through skills
- Available for moderate overnight travel (30%)
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and employment laws
- Previous airline industry experience
- Proven experience providing high-quality customer service in a matrix structure
- High volume professional scheduling experience

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
