We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Finance department. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with the relevant legal and tax regulations for our entities in our various countries of operation.
In this role, you will:
- Process the end-to-end payroll in a fast-growing organization with multinational operations.
- Work with the external payroll vendor to ensure the correct processing of monthly payrolls in various locations.
- Obtain necessary approvals and authorizations for salary transfers in accordance with company policies and banking regulations.
- Deal with payroll taxes and ensure the proper treatment of benefits.
- Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Work closely with legal and tax teams to address any changes in legislation affecting payroll processing.
- Maintain the global payroll system, including collaboration with payroll vendors and various teams to implement system upgrades and modifications.
- Ensure that all data in the payroll system is correct and complete in a timely manner.
- Provide monthly and annual payroll reports to the Finance department.
- Prepare payroll forecasts for the Finance department.
- Answer payroll-related questions from our colleagues.
- Work together with the HR and Finance teams to implement automation, innovation, and continuous improvements for payroll processing and reporting.
- Collaborate in internal and external audits related to global payroll to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare PTO reports for the Finance team.
- Assist in preparing various periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports.
- Compile payroll data for management.
- Participate in special projects related to payroll.
We will be happy to have you on our team if you:
- Have 3–5 years of international payroll experience, preferably with a focus on countries of operation like the US, Czechia, Armenia, Poland, Serbia, and Cyprus.
- Have a solid understanding of payroll best practices and accounting fundamentals.
- Are ethical and hold confidentiality in high regard.
- Have outstanding organizational skills, with great attention to detail.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Speak and write English to a high professional standard, with proficiency in Polish or Czech considered an advantage.
