Overview

Duties
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address various psychological and emotional issues.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to support clients with behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including addiction counseling when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with medical terminology standards and ICD-9 coding practices.
- Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in social work and behavioral health.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary resources within the community.
- Work closely with families to provide guidance and support in managing their loved ones' conditions.
Qualifications
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and applied behavior analysis is essential.
- Strong research skills to contribute to ongoing program development and improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
