Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our FAA RSQCM quality program and ensure compliance with federal and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aircraft parts inspection and maintenance, quality management systems and FAA requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our aircraft components workmanship and operational processes, ensuring they meet both internal and external quality standards.
Duties
- Maintain and refine Quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, and maintenance performed.
- Conduct regular quality audits and work order inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established quality protocols.
- Analyze data from quality inspections and audits to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and compliance status for management review.
Skills
- Proven experience in FAA 145 repair station Quality Assurance
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality-related information across various departments and external customers.
- Ability to lead teams in conducting thorough quality inspections and audits.
