The Role
As a founding engineer, you'll wear multiple hats and have the opportunity to:
- Architect and build new features from scratch while maintaining and scaling existing systems
- Help establish engineering best practices and technical culture
- Make critical decisions about our technical direction and future tech stack evolution
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to shape product strategy
- Work directly with customers to understand their pain points and translate them into elegant technical solutions
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- 5 years of experience building production software systems
- Strong full-stack development skills
- Experience with modern web technologies and architectures
- Track record of shipping customer-facing products
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration
- Strong product intuition and customer empathy
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with our current stack (Laravel, MySQL, React)
- Previous startup or early-stage company experience
- Experience building and scaling systems from the ground up
- Experience with direct customer interaction
