Business Litigation Attorney

Jettison is representing a law firm who is seeking a talented and motivated Business Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex business litigation cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties
• Draft and argue persuasive motions, including dispositive motions
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials
• Oversee and strategize electronic discovery processes
• Develop case strategies and theories in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case arguments
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Maintain client relationships and provide regular case updates
  
  

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar membership in NY.
• 2-6 years of experience in commercial business litigation
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex litigation matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and e-discovery platforms
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
