Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be an integrated partner with our business leaders to assure the smooth and efficient delivery of business goals, HR processes, policies, and services. Focus areas will include coaching leaders, anticipating needs in the areas of employee relations, hiring, on-boarding, communication, and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assess, anticipate, and consult on human resources-related needs.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies that enable business results.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment law requirements, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partnering with internal and external Legal partners as needed.
  • Advise management on promotions, internal transfers, and related compensation changes.
  • Support leadership through organizational development employee moves, as needed.
  • Provide performance management support to leaders and employees.
  • Provide advice and deliver programs that provide career development and coach leaders on team development.
  • Work closely with HR colleagues, leadership, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Monitor training programs to ensure training objectives are being met. Follow up with business partners as needed to enable successful completion of training needs.

Qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Human Resource Management.
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of related HR experience.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
