Jewelry Television is currently seeking applicants for our Technology Service Desk teams. Do you have a mix of technical and customer service skills and are passionate about technology and helping people? If so, we are looking for someone like you to fulfill the role of Technology Service Desk Technician at Jewelry Television!

  • Develop thriving relationships across the JTV enterprise, by supporting end-user desktop computing, and Technology Initiatives throughout th e company.

  • Work with different teams in the Technology division (Technical Operations, Software Engineering, Database Administration) on projects and special initiatives.

As a member of this best-in-class Technology Service Desk, you will:

  • Respond to end user requests that come in via phone and ticketing system; handling each task based on priorities.

  • Act as end user advocate, researching, troubleshooting and pushing for thorough resolution of issues in as timely a manner as possible.

  • Communicate plans, progress, and issues in a timely manner.

  • Monitor network nodes and troubleshoot/resolve connectivity issues/outages.

  • Troubleshoot and support proprietary software programs as well as third party software and applications.

  • Document and summarize interactions with end users accurately for tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Troubleshoot hardware\software issues on a variety of devices.

  • Where applicable, provide suggestions for process and procedure improvement.

Score bonus points with…

  • Previous Helpdesk experience.

  • A , Net , or other relevant IT Certifications.

  • Experience working on computer hardware.

  • Familiarity with Jira and Jira Service Desk, or another helpdesk software.

  • Experience in an environment with internal software development.

  • Knowledge about Active Directory and Cisco network and voice gear.

  • Desktop and mobile troubleshooting skills, including Windows, Macintosh, iOS, and Android.
