Jewett Automation is a fast-growing, industrial automation and systems integration company seeking a Sales Aftermarket Manager. The successful candidate will know about various factory automation systems and enjoy a collaborative environment, demonstrating critical thinking, superior problem-solving, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities : Customer Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers for all service needs.
- Ensure customers are getting the highest quality support. Provide quick, knowledgeable responses to inquiries (calls, e-mails, RFQs); ensure quick, efficient scheduling, and professional reporting to customers; facilitate vetting and training of service techs.
Revenue Generation
Own all sales opportunities for APPs, spare parts, service calls, installations, and retrofits. Have direct responsibility for meeting sales goals.Develop pricing and professional customer proposals.Service Processes, Schedules, and Information Systems
Own opportunity tracking process and CRM system.Own company maintenance and APP schedule. Work with service teams in IN and VA to understand team skill sets and utilize them appropriately.Support finance with invoicing, ensuring correct data in the ERP system.Establish and report on group KPIs.Abilities Required :
Proven experience in industrial automation markets, with a strong understanding of the filtration industry.Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g. welding, post-process finishing, machining, grinding, heat treating).Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.Ability to task-switch effectively and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.Proficient in using software tools and applications, including ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.Ability to utilize basic computer tasks and functions (e.g. email, file directories, etc.).Knowledge of quality control standards is required.Strong math skills.Qualifications / Skills :
Proven sales experience. Can develop and close revenue opportunities.Technical knowledge. Experienced in the industrial automation market, with an understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, grinding, machine assembly) and engineering design and specifications. Knowledge of and commitment to stringent quality control and safety standards.Financial operations knowledge. Understanding of budgets, revenue, and forecasting. Able to work with the Controller on invoicing.Problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate with team members and customers to creatively solve complex challenges quickly.Highly organized, with strong follow-up skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.Self-motivated with a strong bias for action.Ability to interact with customers professionally, using excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload at times.About Jewett Automation
