The JCC is seeking a HR/Payroll Specialist for our Finance Department. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works in tandem with the CFO in running the HR and accounting functions of the organization. Primary duties will be HR and payroll, with some general accounting tasks, as needed. Current hours will be between 20-30 per week with the potential for increased growth in the future.

Job Duties
Human Resource:
- Onboard/Offboard employees
- Maintain personnel files
- Administrate all company, state and federal employee benefits
- Oversee Vacation/Sick time accruals and usage
- Stay apprised of changes in employment laws and regulations
- Ensure that employment laws and regulations are properly implemented and followed
- Create and update policies, as necessary
- Advise supervisors on employment laws and regulations
- Special reports, as needed
Payroll:
- Oversee time and attendance
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Address employee requests and inquiries
- Process quarterly payroll tax and insurance reports
- Assist with year-end W-2 and ACA filing
Accounting:
- Bank reconciliations
- Merchant Service administration
- Assist CFO in budgeting process
- Assist CFO with financial reports
- Assist CFO with annual audit process
