About the Job Opportunity
We are excited to offer a unique and rewarding opportunity for a Western horseback riding instructor to join our Ranch Camp team at the JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER OF DENVER. As a Horseback Riding Program Staff, you will have the chance to share your passion for horseback riding with children and young adults, while also developing your skills as an equine educator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horseback riding lessons and programs that cater to different age groups and skill levels.
- Collaborate with the program team to create and run staff and all-camp programming.
- Assist with the care and maintenance of our equine herd, including providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Participate in staff training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as an equine educator.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong background in Western horseback riding, either through formal education or extensive personal experience. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
