The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing daily programs for campers, ensuring they are safe, fun, and memorable. A valid driver's license, current Wilderness First Responder certification, and ability to use SatPhone and Spot Device are essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement daily programs for campers, ensuring they are safe, fun, and memorable.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness, able to hike on uneven terrain at high elevations while carrying a 50-60 lbs. backpack.
- Care for the physical, social, and emotional well-being of campers, managing crisis intervention when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with basecamp staff and provide regular updates on trip progress.
